Pound For Pound Rankings

1. BERNARD HOPKINS
44-2-1 (31 KOs) 1 NC
ALIAS: THE EXECUTIONER

The first undisputed middleweight champ since Marvin Hagler. Has now made an unprecedented 19 title defenses and has gone unbeaten over the past 11 years. Looks forward to 20 defenses before calling it quits. Finished Felix Trinidad and destroyed Oscar De La Hoya. Who's next?

2. FLOYD MAYWEATHER
32-0-0 (21 KOs)
ALIAS: PRETTY BOY

Best footwork in boxing today. Has unsuspecting power. Owns a place in the dictionary next to ring generalship. Moved up to 140 and took apart former titlist DeMarcus 'Chop Chop' Corley. Has plans to move up to the 147 and 154-pound before he's done.

3. ANTONIO TARVER
22-2-0 (18 KOs)
ALIAS: MAGIC MAN

Tarver KO'd the incredible Roy Jones Jr. in two rounds. That's right...ROUND 2. Nevermind the fact that the man from sunny Orlando almost received the nod over Jones Jr. in their first encounter. However to get to Jones is where the real story lies. Tarver took on 6 top ten ranked contenders in Lincoln Carter, Chris Johnson, Reggie Johnson, Eric Harding and Montell Griffin and defeated all of them. Next up Paul Briggs.

4. RONALD WRIGHT
47-3-3 (25 KOs)
ALIAS: WINKY

A staple of boxing undercards for so many years, 'Winky' has finally reached the mountain top. Showed discipline in his impressive victory over Shane Mosley to become the first unified 154-pound champion in 29 years. A rematch with Mosley is scheduled for November. If victorious, Felix Trinidad could be next on the horizon.

5. MANNY PACQUIAO
38-2-2 (30 KOs)
ALIAS: PAC MAN

The real champion at featherweight is Manny Pacquiao, and because of Guy Jutras' inability to count to three is keeping the tough Filipino from holding a title belt.

6. ERIK MORALES
47-1-0 (34 KOs)
ALIAS: EL TERRIBLE

Morales became a real 130-pound champion this year with a gutsy 12-round decision over Jesus Chavez and a dominant decision victory over Carlos Hernandez. With those victories, Morales followed in the footsteps of the great Julio Cesar Chavez by becoming the second three-division champion from Mexico . At only 27, 'El Terrible' is now a junior lightweight champ, was a two time featherweight champion and defended his bantamweight title an impressive nine times. Next up is Marco Antonio Barrera for a third time.

7. DIEGO CORRALES
39-2-0 (32 KOs)
ALIAS: CHICO

If a brutal loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr., incarceration and a bloody defeat to Joel Casamayor don't stop this Sacramento native, what will? He was recently named the World Boxing Hall of Fame's Fighter of the Year – and with good reason. 'Chico' fought an impressive boxing exhibition over Casamayor in their rematch and forced the knockout artist Acelino Freitas to quit standing up. Looks to unify the lightweight division and possibly move up to 140 pounds for a rematch with Mr. Mayweather.

8. CORY SPINKS
32-2-0 (10 KOs)
ALIAS: NEXT GENERATION

The son of Leon Spinks is the first undisputed welterweight champ in 17 years. His masterful performance against rough and rugged Ricardo Mayorga secured his ranking in the top ten. Netted victories over a dangerous Zab Judah and a shop worn Miguel Angel Gonzalez. Needs a big fight to stay on the list. Maybe he could ask his promoter Don King for a fight with Felix Trinidad?

9. RAPHAEL MARQUEZ
32-3-0 (29 KOs)
ALIAS: RAFA

Knocked out Tim Austin and Mark '2 Sharp' Johnson, has a decision win against workhorse Mauricio Pastrana and his recent whiplash uppercut KO of Heriberto Ruiz undoubtedly makes Raphael the best bantamweight in the world. Probably needs to move up to the featherweight division to make some real money.

10. KOSTYA TSZYU
30-1-1 (24 KOs)
ALIAS: THUNDER FROM DOWN UNDER

Unified the 140-pound division with a devastating 2nd round KO of Zab Judah. Since then beat Ben Tackie and James Leija. Needs to fight more consistently to remain in top ten. Gets ready for a real test in November. Can Tszyu handle a healthy Sharmba Mitchell?
