Love/Hate Relationship with Boxing

As summer begins to show its face, I felt it was a good time look back and express my love/hate relationship with boxing.

At times, boxing can be a very exhilarating viewing experience. To personally watch two men engage one another in controlled combat, brings to mind classic battles of the past between armed gladiators.

When fighters step on to the ring apron and slide between the ropes, they are literally putting their lives on the line for our entertainment.

This commitment should always be respected and appreciated.

So, it's unfortunate that what is good about boxing, is sometimes overshadowed by what is bad about the sport we all love.
